Version 1.8.2
This platform release completes the first controlled production content inventory for the SPM Search Database. The LOGAN EXTRACTOR discovered, classified, validated, and deduplicated 45 production items across nine content types without opening a database connection or changing a search record.
Release Highlights
45 Items Ready
All 45 discovered records were approved and passed preflight with no failures.
45 Unique Identities
Every item received a distinct source identity, with zero duplicate IDs detected.
LOGAN EXTRACTOR
Production Content Discovery
The extractor identifies eligible SPM destinations, inspects their public content and metadata, and prepares normalized candidates for the Search Database ingestion contract.
General and Editorial Sources
The completed preflight contains 42 general SPM records and 3 Editorial Engine records, proving that both source families can participate in one controlled batch.
Metadata Readiness Review
Titles, descriptions, URLs, content classifications, source identities, and available structured details are inspected before an item can be approved for ingestion.
Production Coverage
Television
Thirteen television records form the largest single group in the approved inventory.
News
Eleven news records are classified for discovery while retaining their source identities.
Galleries and Music
Six gallery records and six music records extend production coverage into SPM's visual and audio collections.
Articles, Gaming, Page, Radio, and Video
The remaining inventory includes 4 articles, 2 gaming records, 1 page, 1 radio record, and 1 video record.
Identity and Duplicate Prevention
Every Candidate Has One Identity
All 45 approved candidates produced unique identities compatible with the source_type + source_id contract introduced in version 1.8.1.
No Duplicate IDs
The duplicate-identity check returned NONE. This prevents two inventory candidates from competing for or overwriting the same search record.
Non-Content Destinations Excluded
Redirect-only and unsuitable destinations are kept out of the approved inventory so search candidates point to meaningful SPM content rather than transitional URLs.
Zero-Write Preflight
No Database Connection Created
The inventory was evaluated without opening a connection to the production Search Database.
No Database Writes Performed
No search item was inserted, updated, or archived during preflight. Discovery and approval remained completely separate from mutation.
45 Approved, 45 Passed, 0 Failed
Every item in the finalized batch satisfied the preflight checks, producing a clean handoff for controlled ingestion.
Batch Readiness
Known scope: The approved batch represents nine content types and two source families with stable identities and validated normalized records.
Controlled handoff: Inventory approval establishes what may proceed to ingestion. It does not bypass the transactional validation and update safeguards established in version 1.8.1.
Measurable baseline: The report provides a concrete starting point for tracking production search coverage as additional SPM content and source adapters are added.
Known Limitations
Inventory approval is not database ingestion
The 45 records passed a zero-write preflight. This release does not claim that those records were inserted, updated, or made visible in public search results during the inventory run.
The inventory is a point-in-time snapshot
New, changed, redirected, or removed SPM pages require a later discovery run and comparison before production coverage can be considered current again.
Classification depends on available page information
Incomplete or inconsistent titles, descriptions, metadata, and canonical signals can reduce extraction confidence and may require manual review.
Reconciliation remains a separate controlled action
The inventory does not automatically archive search records that are absent from a later crawl. Removal and reconciliation require explicit review and their own safeguards.
